Right now, we have several activities which are manual and time-consuming.
Being able to build JIRA Automation scripts with Conditions (triggers) based on:
Zephyr Scale test cases
status change/set to value & by which user
modified date change & by which user
new version created & by which user
custom field value changed/set to a value & by which user
coverage issue linked/unlinked & by which user
Zephyr Scale test cycles
test case(s) added/removed & by which user
test case(s) assigned/unassigned & by which user
test cycle modified & by which user
JIRA issues linked/unlinked to test cycle & by which user
Zephyr Scale test executions
new execution record created & by which user
execution record status change & by which user
issue linked/unlinked to execution record & by which user
issue linked/unlinked to execution test step & by which user
Additionally, being able to build JIRA Automation scripts with Actions:
Zephyr Scale test cases
change/clear Status
edit field/custom field values
add/remove coverage link
Zephyr Scale test cycles
add/remove test case(s)
assign/unassign test case(s)
edit field/custom field values
link/unlink JIRA issues to test cycle
Zephyr Scale test executions
create a new test execution
(anything which can be done via API to test executions)
As a... | Jira Admin |
I would like... | to create JIRA Automation scripts which could trigger off changes to test case or make changes to test cases |
So that I... | can automate several processes which are manual and time consuming now. |
The below link shows how to trigger Test Automation from Jira (with SynapseRT Plugin for Test Cases Management)

I am looking for the similar capability in TM4J or ZephyrScale. I logged the ticket TMJCSUP-3891 with support team few days back. Could you confirm that this will be addressed in this idea?
