As a TM4J user
I want better integration with Confluence
So that I can display reports in Confluence and add links between test cases/cycles/plans and Confluence pages.

For any feedback, please add your comments below in the style above, so we can figure out what improvements you'd like to see and why :)

    Hi all,

Thanks for the above feedback. At the moment, we're focusing on making sure the essential functionality is in place so that we customers can actually migrate all their necessary data and see it in Jira. This is to avoid any data loss between Server and Cloud.

The steps after this will involve evaluating functionality such as the reporting app in Confluence and prioritising accordingly. I know that many of you are using the reporting app on a regular basis as a core part of Zephyr Scale, and this is being taken into account.

We'll provide updates to this idea as things progress.

We're currently iin the process of migtrating Jira from our data Centre hosted instance to the Cloud, we use Zephyr Scale, and our end users really will see the impact from not being able to report in Confluence.

If your focus is "helping customers migrate to the cloud", surely then you need to help them migrate their Confluence content to the cloud too? Otherwise you're only partially helping on one hand, partially hindering the process on the other

We would strongly encourage the availability of the Zephyr Scale Reporting for Confluence into the cloud version of Confluence. We've begun a significant investment of time and resources in Zephyr Scale and it's a bit frustrating to find out that a complete solution isn't yet available.

We were wondering when the plugin Zephyr Scale Reporting for Confluence it's going to be available for the Cloud. Since we already have Confluence and Jira in the Cloud we would like to be able to use Zephyr reports in Confluence.

    Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the feedback Balázs/Frank. We're going to review this soon and do a deeper dive into the technical implications of introducing something similar on Cloud.

At the moment, we're prioritising our solution to help customers migrate data easily from Jira Server to Cloud, and covering missing features that are necessary for data retention, then we'll look into anything else.

The feedback here helps us build a case for this in future development, so it's much appreciated.

We also would like to know when the SmartBear App "Zephyr Scale Reporting for Confluence" will be provided for Confluence Cloud too? (see https://support.smartbear.com/zephyr-scale-server/docs/reports/live-reports-in-confluence.html).

I guess, more and more companies will following Atlassion to the cloud. it would be suboptimal to use “eazyBI Reports and Charts for Jira Cloud”. Your support said to me:
I am not sure whether “eazyBI Reports and Charts for Jira Cloud” will integrate/share data on Zephyr Scale Cloud, I will strongly recommend you to check with the eazyBI team before purchasing it. "

We are only using ZS cloud and want to give our stakeholders access to the ZS reports that are embed in confluence pages via macros.

1: these reports mostly consumed by developers and managers. They are not really comfortable in Zephyr Scale and cycles, also we usually run multiple cycles for a release. We like to add extra text and description around the graphics, so thats why we loved the confluence server app. We were able to add a report then add some text right under that to describe what did we do here, and what you can see on the result graph.

2: we were server only, now we are following Atlassian to the cloud, we are using both jira and confluence in the cloud. We created a handy test report in confluence, which currently we need to do with print screen static images. Thats the part we really dislike and miss currently :(

    Best regards,

    Hi Balazs,

    A few questions:

    1. What do you find painful about the reporting on the cloud app?

    2. Are you using Jira cloud and Confluence server? Since you've mentioned "Our confluence test templates build on the server version".

Really bad news, currently reporting in general on cloud is really a painful point. Our Confluence Test Templates built on the server version, tough to hear that we can not use them for a while again...

    Hey all.

Just some context on this one. When we evaluate ideas, we consider effort/cost and maintenance alongside votes.

For this idea, we've evaluated the technical effort to create the app and maintain it, and at the moment we're prioritising other work above it.

Our server app requires a lot of maintenance, so until we've made this more robust, we won't be introducing an app for Confluence for our Cloud app.

Thanks for giving feedback on this idea. If anything progresses, we'll let you know here.

There used to be an extra-Plugin from TM4J to expose and filter the TM4J-widgets in Confluence. Does this tool not exist any more?

In the testcase tab "traceability" i am able to link a Confluence page - if so, there is no bidirectional link, meaning that on the linked Confluence page I dont see the link to the testcase - this would be a valuable function.
